Reality Swamps IPCC's "Worst Case Scenario"22 May 07
Global emissions of carbon dioxide are growing at a faster clip than the highest rates used in recent key UN reports. From 2000 to 2004, CO2 emissions rates almost tripled to 3 percent a year – higher than any rate used in emissions scenarios for the reports by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

I am working on a comparison of the Working Group three report released to the public today, with a copy of the draft that was submitted by scientists. Should have it up soon. IPCC summary report culled and it's the deniers who claim censorship?10 Apr 07
It's clear that the United States, China, Russia and Saudi Arabia flexed their collective United Nations muscle in negotiating the final version of the IPCC's summary for policymakers released in Brussels on Friday. But don't let the global warming deniers tell you that the report was somehow played up by the "alarmist" UN and "their socialist group of scientists bent on new world order." The exact opposite occurred. |
